Industry resource efficiency projects
In the industrial world, input resources necessary for manufacturing products are a significant cost factor and a more efficient use of resources largely affects the company’s profitability. The Environmental Investment Centre (EIC) opened the first round of the support with a budget of 109.5 million euros for resource efficiency investments.
INDUSTRY RESOURCE AUDIT
An industry resource audit maps the company’s use of resources, including the materials required for manufacturing, the energy, and the waste generated during the manufacturing process. The analysis results in an action plan for saving resources with an estimated savings potential, profitability calculations, and a monitoring plan.
INDUSTRY RESOURCE EFFICIENCY PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Industry resource efficiency project management includes the organisation of the realisation of the necessary investments, compiling the documents necessary for receiving the support, and checking the creation of the desired resource savings on the basis of the performed audit.
Support measure for resource efficiency in figures:
1. Investment support 100,000–2,000,000 euros
2. Audit support up to 7,500 euros
3. Support rate 25–50%
4. Audit support is available to: NACE B05–09, C10–33 (except C12)
5. Investment support is available to: NACE B05–09, C10–11, C16–17, C23
6. Project eligibility period ends: 31 December 2023
