On 2 November, we organised a seminar in Tartu Dorpat Conference Centre where we focused on the possibilities of improving energy efficiency in spas and water centres. Participants included representatives of larger spas, as well as interested persons from smaller swimming pool establishments, who were all interested in the possibilities of ensuring good internal climate in water centres with low energy costs.
Aivar Uutar from AU Energiateenus OÜ made the opening speech at the seminar and introduced the renovation works performed at Aura Water Centre. Kairit Matto, director of Aura Water Centre, talked about new renovation experiences from the perspective of the contracting entity as well as about the benefits of a contract guaranteeing the best result for the contracting entity. Martin Mölder from the Tartu company Vamos Automaatika introduced the possibilities of the building automation of modern building engineering. Mari-Liis Maripuu from the Swedish company Cit Chalemers made the last presentation, which concluded the presentation part of the seminar. She introduced the Total Concept method developed in Sweden, the purpose of which is a comprehensive approach to reducing the energy consumption of the building to achieve maximum savings in an economically beneficial way.
